About Equipped Kids  |  Sunshine Affiliation  |  Locate Equipment  |  Donations    |  Forms   Equipped Kids Overview: Equipped Kids, Inc. is a non-profit corporation providing adaptive equipment for short-term use to children with developmental disabilities or delays in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Children who have temporary equipment needs while recovering From injury or surgery also have the opportunity to utilize this unique program. Equipped Kids' inventory includes used, but well maintained equipment that is donated as well as equipment that is purchased through grants and monetary donations. The list of available equipment includes ambulation aids, positioning devices, wheelchairs and various other items used in daily activities. All pieces of equipment may be borrowed for a set period of time free of charge so as long as they are returned according to the agreement made between the borrower and Equipped Kids Inc.
